  2. Marc Edwards, M.D., MBA

    Photograph: Mark Edwards, M.D.Dr. Edwards graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1975. In 1989, Dr. Edwards joined Aetna as an Area Medical Director. In addition, he completed the Executive MBA program at the University of Connecticut.

    In 1995, he joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Connecticut where he produced quantum improvements in utilization management program effectiveness. In 1996, he went on to achieve major cost savings for ConnectiCare as Vice President, Medical Director and manager of medical operations including disease management and pharmacy programs.

  3. Gary Kaplan, M.D., Ph.D.

Kaplan M.D., Ph.D. is a neurologist, neuroscientist and educator, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Neurophysiology at North Shore University Hospital, and Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at New York University School of Medicine. He undertook post-graduate training in neurology at Yale University School of Medicine, where he also served as chief resident in neurology and clinical instructor.

    He received the Albert H. Douglas award from the Medical Society of the State of New York for outstanding achievements as a clinical teacher interested in promoting and improving medical education of physicians.
